You can really tell how the weighted flies stay steadier in the water flow than the unweighted tube fly. Wonder if that would lead to the fish missing the fly and me missing a strike.

Thats a good point, I did one of these years ago on the Skagit in WA, swam nice. I did a video but cant find it, just have the pic.

Final vid of the day. This intruder has a weighted bead in the body. So no eyes but it's steady in the water flow.
