I use it all the time, in various applications from trout to steelhead, mostly chironomids though. @Canadian Llama has it in various colors a definite must have for the chironomid stillwater angler.

If you havent already, the Gulff Products are my favorite.

Been doing the same as Rick, though not as successful at hook-ups as he is. I also add fluoro orange to the butts of stonefly nymphs and fluoro green to caddis pupae river patterns and caddis adult patterns. Does it help catch fish? Obviously, or else I wouldn't be doing it.
