Tag: Fluorescent Hot Orange floss wrapped cone shaped as you want the big end to meet the size of the body
Under Body: under wrap with Kingfisher blue floss
Hackle\Body A composite loop with materials laid down as follows then place in loop and spun. After spinning pick-out the mallard so it will lay straight and long when palmered.
1st layer: very thin, sparse amount of lavender SLF Prism dubbing and spread out 1 1/2 inches
2nd layer: very thin sparse amount of Pearl SLF Prism dubbing spread out to cover the 1st layer.
3rd layer: 12-15 fibers from mallard flank feather separated and placed toward the bottom of you loop. (this will be the hackle)
Use UTC 70 white thread for the composite loop.
Head: Size 140 UTC thread in Fluorescent Orange
