Hey gang, it’s chironomid fly box stocking season. Whether you a new tier or a seasoned veteran we all have something to learn, we can give and get good feedback that will help us all tie better bugs. The fly tying guild is great community of novice and expert tiers from all around the world that as you can see from the many great patterns posted in the pattern library. So don’t be shy, any question is a good question, you are among good people.

I’ll start this off with a couple ASB Chironimids. The first one is #14 ASB with black rib and the second is a #16 ASB with red rib. :)

Well, combine retirement with Covid-19 isolation and there aren't many holes left in my chironomid boxes. That said, I still tie up a couple every day or so. Now I just have to wait for ice-off.

Ack! I need to get tying. I've been caught up with doodling and music lately.
The boys only allow me so much lazy time these days.

Here is the 1st of next 12 ties to start the day. It’s a #16 anti static bag black rib
